EX NORWEGIAN NEW ALBUM "SKETCH" OUT JUNE 22nd

The much-anticipated second album from South Florida's Ex Norwegian, Sketch, will be released June 22, 2010, via Dippy.

Ex Norwegian beef up their "incredibly eclectic" brand of powerpop, shoegaze and indie rock with this new, refreshingly undaunted album. Each Ex Norwegian has some songwriting credits on Sketch which was self-produced and recorded in their hometown Miami Beach, FL.

Released last summer, Ex Norwegian's debut album Standby, immediately established the band with press, college radio and music enthusiasts.

The Sketch tour begins June, starting with Florida, and will continue later in the year across the United States while the band set up plans to tour abroad.

CLASSIC DIPPY ALBUMS NOW ON AMAZON, iTUNES

Dippy Records is making back catalogue titles available once again on iTunes and Amazon.com, the two leading digital stores, in 2010.

Among the titles are all BJ Experience albums, the Monkeypox "Singles" compilation as well as albums by Father Bloopy, Maurier Debbouze and monarcs. The effort is to keep the Dippy legacy alive and stir interest to the curious beginnings of the label as it launches into a new decade.

"Since Dippy is going to be relaunching, I wanted to find a cool way to get people listening to our music and help support the old artists too," said label founder Roger Houdaille. "Dippy has always been a bit of a collector's curio and those just getting into the sounds now will have a fun time diggin up these former out-of-print titles from some really esoteric artists."

Dippy Records has officially announced today an active year in 2010. This news comes after over an year of being in administration. The "Dippy Revival" as it's been cleverly dubbed, will bring a completely refreshed artist roster and some exciting new releases, including the upcoming Ex Norwegian record "Sketch".
