In only a weeks time, Father Bloopy prepared this last-minute release especially for The BJ Experience's benefit concert appearance, September 16, 2005. This little time to was not a huge problem but did have an influence with the way the box set was made and what is on it and what is not. With decision making fast, the set incorporated ideas that have already been in discussion as well as finishing up the abandoned "Oh No! Not A BJ Experience Live Album" which became disc 3.
The live compilation proved to be the hardest to work with due to the amount of different sources being used. We have audience recordings done with headphone mics>MiniDisc to audience mics on and off stage>digital recorder. Mix that with soundboards and audio off of Hi8 audience video and it becomes quite a mission. Finding the only recording, and for that matter, performance of Weirdest Band In The World also was a mission. For a moment, it was thought the tape was lost in BJ's personal archives. The AJ Roxx show was a memorable one for not only breaking up the group, but for the material performed. Because the night called for 2 sets, the group played many songs which weren't done before. The one song that was highly anticipated to put on the box set was of course, Weirdest Band In The World, which originally appears on BJ's solo album "I Can Do It". Once located (on a unidentified tape), it was transferred onto VHS and then to an audio WAV. Much to BJ's and Bloopy's dismay, the song cuts out after the 2nd chorus due to tape end. However, I'm sure you'll agree it was worth the trouble locating.
Because of the projects short time span, it proved to be too time consuming to get the original source for some of the material on the set.
